Jakarta BPRD Head, Edi Sumantri expressed, this year, local revenue is targeted to hit Rp 41 trillion. Thus there is an increase in next year as much as Rp 9 trillion.

To achieve it, he continued, BPRD will optimize several revenue sectors such as Urban and Rural Land and Buildings Tax (PBB-P2) and Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB).
"There is still an indebted tax of PBB-P2 worth Rp 2.2 trillion and PKB worth Rp 600 billion," he explained.
To optimize the collection of this indebted tax, his party will establish a collection unit and enable tax bailiff and Civil Service Investigators (PPNS).
"We will work maximally to increase PAD revenue," he disclosed.
